NIT Surat is one of the top most NIT. Score varies almost every year and differs from one branch to another, Considering general category, 235+ score is enough to admit in NIT Surat. For OBC students, There is slightly less score to need like 200+ and 160+ score need for SC, ST students. It may be vary depending on question paper and cutoff rank. Hey aspirant
In order to get rank more than 6000, you need to score at least 200 marks in the JEE Mains.
But the real thing is why do you want to know about placements...???
If you are thinking that good placement could decide good career options that's not the case.
Humble request, don't follow money and people(majority) blindly , do what you love , choose what you are best at , I myself was first attracted towards lucrative CSE , but coding was not my genre.
So take your time......!!!!!
Opt for CS only if it interests you not just for the sake everybody's opting it and high payscale.
