to get approximate marks in jee mains to get into nit you have to score more than 200 marks for general category and for other categories you have to score 120 and you should have atleast 75% in 12th class conducted by the perspective board exam

If you want to get admitted in Any Nit you must qualify the Jee mains and you have to score 75%marks in your 12 th for general category to eligible for that.
Your rank must be within 12k to get a reputed nit and a core branch in that nit .The top nits are NIT TRICHY,NIT WARANGAL,NIT SURATHKAL etc.
