Dear Nishta, your 12th board exams are considered the eligibility criteria for being eligible for NEET which is the National level Entrance examination for admission into Medical, Dental and Ayush colleges across India. For example, if you are from General Category, you need to score a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in your 10+2. Once you score that aggregate, you are eligible to appear for NEET. Their purpose ends there. To get a seat in a Medical college, your score and rank in NEET only matter.
