Hi dear,

Hope you are doing well!

Now let's go through your question.

Here's the eligibility criteria for getting into NITs:

  • You need to have secured a minimum 75% marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board.
  • If you belong to SC/ ST , then the eligibility criteria is to secure 65% marks in class XII or equivalent exam.

For admissions to B.Arch. programmes :

  • You need to have PCM mandatorily in their 10+2 or equivalent exam.
  • You need to have secured minimum 50% marks in these subjects in aggregate and 50% individually too.

Thank You & All the best!

Hi there.

Yes it is true , you need at least 75% in your boards for admission in NIT. Along with the clearance of JEE mains .

So it is compulsory for you to get into Nit irrespective of your branch .

And this is same for every Nit , you need basically 75% in your 12 exam
