Greetings, aspirant!

BVSc and AH (bachelor's in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry) is a 5 year UG course. Students that wish to opt for a career in Veterinary Sciences usually pursue this course.

They're one and the same and you do not need to pursue a different course for animal husbandry.

To get an admission in this course which is offered by over 67 colleges in India, one needs to appear for the entrance exam AIPVT.

Apart from BVSc & AH, the other UG courses related to veterinary sciences include:-

  • BVSc Animal Nutrition
  • BVSc Livestock Production and Management
  • BVSc veterinary pathology
  • BVSc Animal genetics and breeding
  • BVSc veterinary surgery and radiology

Hope this information helps

Best of luck!!
