Are COMEDK colleges really better than VIT Vellore in terms of placements and less fees? What can be minimum rank required to get CS in top 10 colleges of COMEDK and is it worth to miss class in VIT Vellore on 14 Sept for COMEDK if fees is not an issue?

As you have mentioned that the fee is not a point of concern, I don't think changing college would be a great idea unless you get hefty return of investments. As you had stated earlier that a third category seat is worth joining or not at VIT, Vellore in comparison to top colleges of COMEDK so if we consider the top three colleges, you could definitely have a go for them. These are better or above par in comparison to VIT in terms of faculties, higher packages and ROI.
- RVCE: fee-3.5lpa, avg package-9 lacs
- MSRIT:fee-3.45lpa avg package-7lpa
- BMS College of engineering:fee-2.3lpa avg package-7.5-8lpa
Note- You will need a rank below 4k in COMEDK ug to be eligible for CSE in the mentioned colleges.
