I think your question is can you take your desktop in the hostel of collleges of Gujarat.In hostel there is a permission of carry electical equipments such as computers as a hellping tool which is required during many times.
Specifically you should call to the authority of that colleges for right information but as per my view there is no obligation in carry desktop to thr hostel premises of any colleges.
