Hey there,

To become a graphic designer, although it's not mandatory to have great drawing skills as various softwares are available these days, but still it's an important aspect to have good drawing skills to be able to portray your rough thoughts and ideas on to the paper and to use it later. Hope it helps.

Hi,

It seems like the graphic designers must need good drawing skills but in reality not all graphic designers are good painters. To be a successful graphic designer you need to learn work with graphics, prints and stylized illustrations. For all this, you will be prepared well in University. So having a drawing skill to draw well on paper isn't mandatory. But is anyone has this skill then it may act as an advantage to them .As it may help them to add aesthetic beauty to their designs.

Hope this will help you!!
