Hi there,

Unfortunately, 1st year studnets of engineering are not eligible for NTSE. Studnets studying in class 10th are eligible for appearing in NTSE stage 1. Sainik Schools studnets,  Navodya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya studnets can apply for NTSE from the state where school is situated. There will be no domicile restrictions  for  them.

Hope it helps you

Good luck!
