Are jee main paper 2 and nata exams the same?
Hello Uttej,
Thanks for contacting Careers360.
No, JEE Main paper 2 and NATA are two different entrance exams for the B.Arch Course.
NATA scores are used by admissions authorities of different unaided & Government aided schools / colleges of Architecture, to provide common measures for comparing the qualifications of applicants. NATA measures aesthetic sensitivity, critical thinking, perception, observation and architectural awareness.
Entrance to architecture programmes at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT's) is through the national level Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). Private institutes conduct entrance exams of their own. Different states also hold separate entrance exams for admission to architecture and engineering colleges in the state.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!
.
jEE mains and nata exam is different.but those Colleges which are accepting the jEE mains also accept the nata score.
.
But jEE mains is conducted both for btech and b.arch .here jEE mains is conducted by NTA for the candidates in b.arch and b.planning courses in Nits and gftis.
.
Nata ( national aptitude test for architecture) it is conducted by council of architecture. It is national level common aptitude test in architecture.which is used for 5 years b.Arch degree course at all the recognised institution's all over the country.
.
If you have any questions further let me know.
