Yes MTG books are good for qualifying jee main and advance but to score high marks you should follow arihant publication books or HC verma.

About how much one can score from mtg jee mains book?

Hello,

as far as I know mtg book are good for qualifying JEE mains with good marks but to gain high marks in JEE advanced you should prepare from books like HC Verma op Tandon and RD Sharma ,you can also follow Arihant Publication books for further practice.

acoording to my knowledage the MTG is good for upto the JEE mains exams it is not upto the mark for the JEE advance My better suggestion for JEE advance as well as the JEE Mains plz take the look on the pearson in which the excellent content in the physics problems sloving and also it is good for maths and chemistry
