May be as you say, but you should not depend on that only. Actually, the thing that y our basics in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics should be very clear upto 12th std. You should read the NCERT books for basics. Then HC Verma for Physics, RD Sharma for Mathematics, OP Tendon for Physical & Inorganic Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry of "Arihant Publication" for detail or extra knowledge.
You should also try to solve the previous years question papers, this helps too much and you should also give the mock test to rectify yourself and build your confidence level.

NCERT books will help you for the exam. The syllabus of IPU CET will be based on the 10+2 level syllabus. The paper of IPU CET will have three sections of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Physics: (33.33%) Chemistry: (33.33%) Mathematics: (33.33%
You can go through with the previous year papers to know the level of the questions for the exam.
