Hello aspirant. According to the present scenario, yes there is a great increase in the demand of GOOD psychologists who can understand the problem of the people well and treat them for the same. Due to the rising problems of depression and suicidal tendencies among teens, schools and colleges are turning to psychologists and student advisors who can help them track the problem they have. Hence, psychologists are in high demand and will also be in demand in the near future. I hope I helped.

It is a good career choice in india. Gradually demand for trained psychologist is increasing in India. In India, branches of psychology are well-known are Clinical, Counseling, Industrial, Educational (school) and Forensic Psychology.
Clinical Psychology is one of the established field of psychology in india. Clinical Psychologists are recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India and can do private practice as well.
