National institutes like IITs, NITs, IIITs etc. dont have the sports quota actually. First you need to specify the state you belong to as this criteria will vary from state to state. Also if there is an entrance exam, you will in all probabilities need to appear for it as the relaxation is mostly given for the students in the eligibility like pass percentage or there are some seats reserved for them but no exemption from the entrance test.
