Neet is the only entrance exam conducted in India for admission to all medical, dental and ayush courses in medical colleges of India and in abroad. Other than Neet, there is no entrance exams that you can appear for getting admission in medical undergraduation. Last year, AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS were scrapped and from this year, admission to AIIMS, JIPMER, AFMC and all other medical colleges will be on the basis of Neet score. So in order to join a medical college, you must appear for Neet. To be eligible for Neet, you must have passed 10+2 examination separately in both theory and practical examinationsof PCB with at least 50% marks (40% for OBC, SC, ST and 45% for Pwd) taken together in PCB (Theory and Practical) and English as core subject. http://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-eligibility-criteria
