are we able to choose between two Jadavpur University one is the main University and other is in Salt Lake ??

hi,
see you can only choose the stream or course you want to study for, however in jadavpur campus most of the courses of engineering stream and bachelors courses is available, but some of the engineering stream has classes and set up is in salt lake campus, so if your chosen stream has classes and lab facility is in salt lake campus then you need to go for that campus only.
