Hello student,
See basically both are the top two branches of engineering courses. And if you have deep interest about computer science and network and the application softwares and how it works then you should go any of them two. Both are quiet similar but there is a huge difference in their concepts. Competition engineering basically deals with building and designing computer its programs languages and all. But only other hand information technology deals with the computer networks databases systems and all to ensure that all are working smoothly. Information technology teaches you thr administrative part of the networks and particles. After completing information technology engineering you can get  job into this roles
  • Network administrative
  • Database administrative
  • Computer Support Specialist
  • Process Manager
  • Data Security Administrator
But on the other hand after completing your computer science engineering you can get job as
