Artifical magnets are made in different shapes such as horseshoe magnet,cylindrical magnet, bar magnets etc.
Horseshoe magnet: It is most recognized symbol of magnet. It is made in shape of U.
Cylindrical magnet: These magnet generate high level of magnetism from a small surface polar area as it has thickness equal to or larges than its diameter.
Bar magnet : It is in shape of rectangle. In other words it is in shape of bar with poles at its end.
