Hello,
There is no such thing as lateral entry in MBBS, it's not like engineering where candidates who pursued three years diploma from a recognized university can get enrolled in 2nd year of BTech Degree course(through mode depending upon the norms of the university) , MBBS doesn't have such facility, if you wan to study MBBS then you have to appear for NEET , also to let you know from last year AIIMS and JIPMER don't have their separate entrance exam, it's all clubbed and admission to MBBS is done through NEET only, as of now there is no upper age limit hence no restriction also, you just need to pass 10+2 from a recognized board with physics, chemistry, biology and english as core subjects, there is compulsory requirement of PCB aggregate of 50% in case of UR, for SC/ST/OBC it's 40%, for PwD it's 45%, this is inclusive of theory and practical. Till now NTA which is the competent authority hasn't released NEET schedule, you can stay updated at the official website at ntaneet.nic.in for more details regarding this.
