Verma, whether AIIMS and JIPMER have been merged with NEET or not, cut offs have been changing every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. You can always see 15-20 marks of fluctuation every year in the general cut offs. Now AIIIMS and JIPMER will conduct their admissions at All India Counselling to their combined 1700 seats. Now this will not bear any difference in the State level seats. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. Unless the exam has been difficult or the no.of seats available have been considerably increased, they will not affect the cut offs for the State Counselling seats. And in 2019, the individual college cut offs increased on an average by 75 marks. And NEET 2020 is yet to be conducted and so it is too early to discuss about NEET 2021. So what we would suggest is to wait atleast until NEET 2020 counselling is over for us to guess or have an idea how things might be in 2021. And if you are preparing for NEET 2021, the MHRD did announce that NEET 2021 will be held with reduced and revised syllabus. While the topics that will be reduced and revised haven't been officially released yet, it has been announced that the syllabus will be reduced. Now CBSE has reduced the syllabus by upto 30% and so the same topics might be considered by MHRD and NTA. So if you are preparing for NEET 20021, we would suggest you to stick to NCERT books until the revised syllabus has been announced. So in that way you do not spend unnecessarily on books or coaching materials.
Nothing can be predicted as 2020 will be the firsy year when AIIMS JIPMER, etc. all other medical entrance examinations have been merged into a common ALL INDIA entrance examination that is the NEET. So the cutoffs cannot be easily predicted as they depend on various factors like number of candidates appearing, paper level difficulty, etc. Cutoffs also vary from state to state and university to university. As of now dont think about all of these and waste your time, keep preparing for the exam in the best way you can and give your best.
