As bio as an optional subject am i eligible for aiims Thouh I had bio in both class 11 and class 12 and I was regular in practical classes
Well firstly AIIMS have an entrance exam for it selection still there is a minimum aggregate required for application .
Below is the basic eligibility criteria:
You must have completed our class 12 from CBSE/ISC/State Board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as the main subject
The minimum aggregate of the marks secured in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology must be 60%

Yes, you are available for AIIMS entrance exam.
It doesn't matter whether Biology was one of your five main subjects, or whether it was your 6th elective subject.
As long as you had the combination of Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with Practicals, you are eligible for the test. But there's an added requirement. You should secure 50 percent aggregate in Biology, so do check that up. If you have cleared that, you should not be facing any problem!
