Placements in CIT is being good when compared to other colleges. Mechanical Students must attend interview only in CORE companies. Nearly 130 placed in core companies out of 194 students. Maximum Salary is 3.5 LPA in JK Tyres. Minimum salary is 2 LPA. Students are given high priority to do their own projects with college support. Nearly 180 students out of 194 went for an internship without any Stipend.

So this college has comparatively good enough placements compared to other colleges. Apart from placements internships are also provided for second year and third year students in companies to learn the skills.

Almost 90 percentage of the students who were engaged in the placements program was placed before leaving college. There is also a placement cell in the college which looks after training and placements.
