As i am applying for UGC/NET/JRF 2019, can i apply under EWS category ? ( tho i have recently applied for EWS certificate)

Yes, you can apply for the EWS category. As per the NTA guidelines you will require the EWS certificate at the time of the verification. By the time you can easily fill the Application form without the certificate.
Application form for the June session are out till 30th March and you can pay fees till 1st April.

Some government has changed the criteria for the EWS certification. In Rajasthan , EWS certificate can be made on the base on annual income less than 8 LPA. There is no limit of size of home, property , agriculture land etc. I have received this EWS provided by Rajasthan Government.
But my question is --- Can I fill the form of UGC NET in EWS category on the base of this EWS certificate??
After qualifying UGC NET Exam , will I be able to apply for any jobs in Rajasthan where UGC NET is applicable?? Because in UGC NET guideline both annual income and land criteria should be fulfilled to qualify exam with EWS category.

Dear Anshika, EWS reservation is for General Category candidates whose annual income from all sources is less than 8 lakhs per annum. This is not for SC/ST/OBC. So if you fulfill this criteria, though at this point in time you dont have the necesaary certificate you can select EWS as your category.

For EWS Candidates , What is the age limit for applying JRF ?
There is no age limit concession. It is the same as for General Category.

I am facing the same problem.I have discussed this issue with NTA officials and they they assured me that I will be adjusted in General Category as my score is also more than General Category cutt off.For this purpose I have also submitted handwritten application to NTA.But three months have passed no correction has been done and I again talked to one of their official and he again assured me that it will be corrected.Now I am again going to NTA head quarter because from my point of view better is to contact them in person to get it corrected.Let me know if this helps.I would be very happy if I could get any update or information regarding this.
