as I am st student I have paid 15000 for seat acceptance fee in josaa. and now I have pay 20000 for partial admission fee. and then if I want to participate in csab special round I have to pay another 16500 rupees. and these total 51500 rupees are adjusted in my alloted Institute? pls help me
If you have got alloted a seat in josaa counseling, and you have paid Rs. 15000 as seat acceptance fees ( as you are a st candidate ).
Now, if you want to retain your seat then you have to give a partial admission fees of Rs. 20000.
And if you don't then your josaa seat will be cancelled.
Now, if you want to take admission in your josaa alloted branch, then you are required to visit the admitting Institute website for DETAILS OF ADMISSION PROCESS FOR FIRST SEMESTER 2020-21. And you are required to complete all the admission formalities given on admitting Institute website. You are also eligible to participate in CSAB-2020 special round. However, refund of Fees deposited at the admitted institute (if applicable), in such cases will be governed by admitted institute rules.
Now, if you have retained your seat in josaa, then you can participate in csab special round counselling.
Now, Rs. 16500 ( as you are a st candidate), is PARTICIPATION FEES of CSAB special round counseling. Anyone who are eligible to participate and are participating in csab special round counseling, will have to give participation fees.
Now, as taking for csab special round counseling, then, if you got alloted any seat in csab special round counseling, then you don't have to pay the seat acceptance fees (if you have retained your seat of josaa), as you have paid it once. Otherwise if your josaa seat for cancelled then you will get refund of your seat acceptances fees and if you accept any seat in csab special round, then you have to give the seat acceptance fees.
For Csab Special Round counseling, out of participation Fees, the Processing Fee is Rs 1,500/- which is non-refundable and non-adjustable towards the fee of allotted Institute .
But the Participation Fees and Seat Acceptance Fees paid by the candidate will be adjusted in the Institute Fee.
So, if you have paid seat acceptance fees once, then that seat acceptance fees will be adjusted in the fees of alloted institute and your participation fees will also get adjusted.
So, that means, if you are taking part in csab special round counselling, then it is confirmed that your Rs. 15000 (seat acceptance fees) and Rs. 15000 ( after deduction of Rs.1500 from participation fees ) will get adjusted in fees of your alloted institute.
Now, this partial admission fees (Rs. 20000) will get adjusted or not in the fees of alloted institute, this will be quite difficult to tell. Because this is the new thing and introduced this time or this year.
But according to me, this fees can also get adjusted in 1st semester fees for alloted institutes.
But nothing can be said because the csab special round 2020 business rules is not released yet.
Check out the page 11 of csab buisness rules 2019 as the buisness rules of 2020 is not released yet :-
