As i asked question that i want to do mtech from robotics..i have to give gate paper from which sub..as i pursuing my btech from civil.
hi aman,
there is no robotics paper in GATE. there is a total of 24 disciplines listed in the link-
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graduate_Aptitude_Test_in_Engineering
. go through them. if you want to study particularly robotics then you have to appear for mechanical engineering and then look for colleges which teach robotics. or you can write xe paper too. you can contact the help desk of gate to know better.
To pursue your Masters in Robotics you need to give MECHANICAL ENGINEERING paper in GATE.After you are qualified in GATE with valid GATE rank you can join in any institute/University or IITs, NITs which offers Masters in Robotics.I hope this is clear to you.
Hi Aman,
In response to your query I would like to answer you that the subject you attempt in the gate paper is not more important rather your score in the gate paper matters more and the rank will be the deciding factor in selecting or availability of the branch for you.
I hope this was helpful.
