As In engineering colleges all the students of different branches study same subjects. so can you list the books for 1st year for engineering colleges in Karnataka Bangalore.

Hi aspirant,

Yes, in every engineering colleges in India the students of first year study the same subjects except the one which is branch specific. The branch specific is generally taught from second year onwards but in some colleges like mine it is taught as early as from first semester. Nevertheless, the subject taught in first year are:

Engineering Mathematics

Physics

Engineering Drawing/ Engineering Graphics

Engineering Economics

Communication in English and Speaking skills

Any programming language (usually C)
