The best way to failure is self destruction.
I'm at seem a bit harsh but at the end of the day I think you would be wishing you better than I intend to through this piece of advice.
It is pretty normal for all of us to feel tensed Before any examination which determines our future whether it is at the school, college ,university level or even at National and international level.
The pressure increases when the expectations are more on us and we have been performing well at school and all it family and Institutions expect us to be performing very well.
All this leads to us being tensed before the examination despite the fact that we have been putting an enormous amount of effort preparing for it all the year long.
However the disparity between learning and performance occurs when this mental agitation and the beat of Expectations does not allow us to think instead of Thinking the answers we keep thinking the consequences of what would happen if we were not to perform as well as we are expected to.
Literature would tell you meditation helps. Friends would tell you music helps. Well wishes my tell you chilling around with friends or taking a bit of relaxation helps.
On the contrary, I think what would help you the most is self belief. To be honest, if you studied well all throughout the year there is no real need to doubt yourself or your commitment to the subjects and spend your days thinking about how the exam will go.
Any sensible person, be it your family members are your teachers comma will understand that the questions and the performance of various students varies according to the standards of paper setters every year.
If you have not been able to put in the preparation you would have like to then perhaps you should take this examination as a practice and try again for a much better performance next year after you have put in the effort throughout a year long.
There is no need to stress yourself some months before the examination which will Hinder you capability to do some last moment preparation, prepare notes comma and appeared for mock examinations and answer them to the best of your ability within time limits. The same stands for the final examination of Neet 2018 as well.
Last word of advice to you as a friend and a guide would be, no examination is the last examination of one's life and every examination is meant to put an hour best and do what others don't expect us to.
No one is a competitor I accept myself and trying to achieve what we are capable of is the best way of attaining success in any examinations. The concept of percentile who is good to secure your rent but mentally you should be willing to compete only with yourself that is the best way to avoid pressure, and perform in flying colours in your examination.
Hope this helps and hope you perform well, thank you

You know I'm one of those people, who get too anxious for their own good when it comes to stress. So I know the boat you are sailing. Here are some things that I think might help and I really hope they do -
- When I had a nil willpower, and this happened on the day of the exam too, I went for a quick motivational video. I used Motivationgrid on YouTube. They were very helpful in reigniting the fire that we all know we have. Try it.
-When I was having a mental breakdown regarding what if's, like what if I mess everything up, what if I'm not able to do it, then what? I think this will help- https://www.quora.com/What-is-your-worst-experience-in-life/answer/Ashish-Biyani-2?share=f9c0bd03&srid=uGJeg
This is not for demotivation. But rather for establishing the fact that what you are going through is a phase of life and not life. You are going to go through this strong and whatever it will be, it will make you better. Please read it.
-when I was fed up, I took a break. Go out once in a while. Maybe with your family. Detoxification for all that stress is necessary. Maybe start exercising, yoga, short workout/dance videos on YouTube or go for a walk on the terrace. Relax and Regain positive energy.
Remember, you are doing just fine. There is no need to panic. Be happy. You are finally closer to what you wanted to achieve. It's about time you get it.
Best of luck :)
Goodluck.
Anxiety is common, it's okay. Calm down. Don't over stress yourself and heat up. Just believe that you have tried your best and there is justa. Little more time left revise with a calm mind. Believe that everything that happens, happens for the best. So, just give your hundred percent and leave the rest for the creator of you and I. He will help you and guide you.
Goodluck.
Everyone gets restless when a exam is approaching. You too feeling the same.
Just do some things so that you don't fear for the exam.
1. Make sure you read well.
2. Be confident. It is just an exam. There are many things in life you might face later and are dreadful.
3. Just divert your mind when you feel restless. Do some things in which you have interest. Or spend time with friends or family. But for a while.
4. Try to do meditation or like that so that you feel fresh.
5. My personal idea is sports. So go and play for a while.
6. Forget about the past and just keep in mind that you will always do better and you can.
All the best...
I've personally felt that the more I got tensed, the more my focus deviated from what I wanted. Trust me it'll only do more harm than good.
Focus on what you want and not on what you do not want. It is all in the mind, since that is where these episodes of self doubt began taking roots. And ONLY YOU can help yourself. No amount of external motivation and counselling can match the power of self confidence. Work on developing that. It is not just for this one entrance examination but also for any aspect of your life at a later stage. Without confidence you're as vulnerable as a withered leaf, the odds will take you with their flow when it should actually be the other way round.
Practice meditation every day for sometime and have faith in your efforts.
Hope this helps!
