See both the field are very good and both of them have a very good job requirement. Now the CS Data Science have a better starting salary compared to that of the Software Engineering. Although, I would recommend the career growth is technically faster than that of the Data Science.

As a result, I would recommend that you can go for any of the courses provided you must have interest in it. There are not much of a difference between this two subjects career scope, so you can choose any of it.
