Its glad to know that 5800 new seats for NEET PG 2018 have been further added to various medical and dental colleges all over the country. There is a total of 479 medical colleges across the country which have a total student capacity of 67,352 MBBS seats. With a motto to have a raise in the strength of specialist doctors and faculty in medical colleges, the ministry of health has amplified the MBBS seats by 13,004 across the medical colleges of the country over the past three years. Moving ahead with the same issue in mind, this year again the Government of India has planned to step up the seats by 5,800 for PG medical courses throughout India. This increase would come into effect from 2018.

According to Union Budget, Arun Jaitley had announced then that 5000 new seats would be added at Post Graduate Level and approximately 13,000 seats for Graduation level would be added. 24 new medical colleges has been indruduced for medical aspirant.
