hello in main exam of 2017 I get marks 20 in economics in july compartment i get 18 so i want again do compartment in 2018 get 17 and this time 20 number of partical in online result subject title is Economics W/O PR and thery 17 and partical blank so i dont' understand please help me ...

I have no words honestly. A re-exam?! Even though I had no idea about the question paper leak, my exam was really good to be honest! And now, this?!?!? AGAIN?!

I am giving exam as private candidate because I was failed in previous so is it compulsary for a failure student to give practical of economics??

Those who are sitting for the Compartment Exam in Economics, please CONTACT YOUR CENTRE for information on the Project (if there is any).

Wehere can't provide any accurate information and it varies with every centre. Good luck.

I was informed in between in Business studies exam which was help on 9th March that it'd be taken.A teacher came a gave us an A4 size on which we wrote our respective board roll numbers.Our economics practicles would be taken on 27th of March which is just a day after economics theoretical exam.My regional centre is Patna and my centre is St.Dominic Savio's High School Nasirgung,Digha,Bihar.

Practical will only be held for compartment students. Not for improvement students. That's what CBSE dehradun regional office said. And my centre also.

I am sitting for Improvement in Economics. And so far, we've been told nothing about any practical whatsoever by anyoneExam is on Monday so I don't think there is anything new to know at this point.

Sorry guys you were right. There is no project for improvement students. My centre gave me wrong information, I was told confirmed information today. :)

Yes compartment students will have practical. Improvement students however do not have practical. So you should do your project!

We have Personally Talked in personal With CBSE also on Phone more over to coordinates who take Projects of economics as u have already passed under previous scheme Your marks Will Be Converted out of 100 . Plzz Beware of Wrong News their Is no Project forimprovement Candidate

Hello! Confusion is finally cleared up. We DO have to make a project and there is going to be a practical. (Viva for 8 marks and project for 12 marks) Went for my English exam today and found this out at the centre. My eco practical is on the 20th.

When I went for my English exam, the teachers in-charge there told me that there will be a practical and that I have to get my project and give viva on the 20th at my centre. They specially came  in the middle of the exam to give this info to all private candidates.

Lol dude chill out. You might not have a project but I do because that's what I've been told by all teachers at my centre. Maybe all the states have different policies. My region is UP and here we've been told to make a project.

Guys any update on the eco project. I am very apprehensive. What if we need to carry the projects? At the same time i don't want to spend the energy for making the project which isnt required.

Me too! The officials at my exam centre say that they "have no information regarding this matter". I have no plans whatsoever to spend (waste) time making an unnecessary Project. My RO isn't answering my calls.

Im so glad I found this forum!

I am in the same dilemma. My RO is not answering my calls; I won't even try e-mailing them as they never reply. I've heard some say that project HAS to be made and that the CS will review it. 2 months ago, when I called up the RO, they said they'll convert our marks out of 100. I don't know which one is legit info. If you can, do help and let me know.

Hey ! Robyn. As per information from Regional Office, 80 will be converted into 100. But As per recent information , CBSE has sent some letters to candidates asking them to make project which will be reviewed by CS/Principal of Examination Centres. When I contacted my CS of Examination Centre, he said he had no information regarding the same. So there is a state of confusion regarding project work. If you get any further information, please update the same here.

Sure thing I will. Wouldn't it be great if "no information" roughly meant "no, there is no need for Project"?? Lol On a serious note, this confusion is driving me crazy. I didn't receive any email whatsoever stating anything at all. CBSE is hella unorganized and irresponsible!

Nothing of importance really. My CS and other exam coordinators are still saying they have "not received any information regarding this" which I guess means that we don't have to make any Project (at least I hope so). As for my RO, 2 months ago when I called them up they said that marks will be converted. But they're not answering my calls NOW which is why I cannot be 100% sure. I think it varies according to regions. Some are asking students to prepare a Project while others aren't. I think this is the case.

Also, I asked some other students who're appearing as Private Candidates and they said that they were told by their teachers that no Project needs to be prepared by them (Private Candidates).

Hello, I spoke to dehradun regional office on the phone a few days ago. They said that practical will be held and information regarding this has been sent to improvement exam candidates in the form of a circular via post. However I said I didnt any such circular. He said you can email the cbse office. I did and so far nobody has replied!! Its really irresponsible of cbse to keep private candidates under such confusion. Please you also email cbse office asking about eco project and viva!!

Hey my dad spoke to the cbse regional office in dehradun and they said that our marks will be converted from 80 to 100. However, according to 19(f) of brochure, "projects will be assessed by the centre superintendent of examination centre as alloted by cbse." So I would suggest, make the project and take it to exam centre on the day of exam JUST IN CASE.

I have talked to regional office Patna.They said that eco exam will be of 80 marks but later on it will be converted into 100 and private candidate will not make project of economics.

Guys No official updates have come up from the CBSe side. No one picks the call at my regional centre. Please someone guide me how do we get a confirmation about our form reaching the centre. Is it confirmed that we do not need to make eco projects?

Cbse helplines dont respond.

Schools are already accepting projects made by students. What do the private candidates  do?

I think Private Candidates need to submit their projects at Examination Centres allotted to them on exam day. If you get any more information please let me know..

Guys I just called at this number 01122509256 and someone responded.he asked me to call at my regional centre which is Haryana and no one responded. You guys also try the above mentioned number and your regional centres and post if you get any information about the project. I will keep trying and update whenever I get in touch with the staff of my regional centre.Please guys don't forget to update.
