Dear student,

As you are a general category student and have secured more than 84000 rank in jee mains, then sorry you will not get any nits or iiits. As the competition level is increasing day by day, so for getting a seat in good nits from general category, your rank must be roughly under 30000.

If you belong from home state quota then you can get NIT Sikkim, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Nagaland, NIT Manipur, NIT Mizoram, NIT Arunachal Pradesh, NIT Puducherry,etc.
But if you are an other state student then you can not get any nits.
Also with your ews rank you can not get a seat in nits.

Better you try at some other state colleges or private institutions like kalinga institute of industrial technology or cv raman global university because many low rankers can easily get admission in these private colleges.

It will be quite difficult for you to get chance in NITs with this rank. You should have mentioned your home state too. You may opt for private engineering colleges or drop one year to prepare for JEE Main 2021.
