Hello Akshika!

First of all, DU provides admission on the basis of your 'Best of Four' score in Class 12th i.e. sum of the marks obtained in four subjects out of five (or six) subjects, in which you have the best scores, divided by four.
Eg. Suppose your marks in Class 12th board exams are as follows -
Geography = 86
History = 89
Economics = 90
English = 92
Pol. Science = 80

Then your Best of Four score will be =
(86+89+90+92)/4 = 89.25
*Note that -
-Marks obtained in Pol. Science has been excluded as you have scored the lowest marks in it when compared to the other subjects.

-Marks obtained in language subject (English/Hindi) is compulsory for evaluation.

Secondly, you have not mentioned your category.

DU colleges have different category-wise cutoffs for different subject combinations under B.A. in Economics programme.

Based on last year cutoff lists, taking your Best of four score as 86+ and considering you to be a General (UR)  candidate, I'm providing below the list of DU colleges you may get for a few subject combinations :-

Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for Women

Akshika jain We are happy to help you Akshika.
But one thing you need to notice is that the above combinations is for B.A. Programme (Discipline Subject based Admission Criteria) with Economics as one of the Discipline subjects. And least cutoffs for the above colleges for B.A. in Economics as a Discipline subject ranges from 75 (for Aditi Mahavidyalaya (W)) to 86 (for Deshbandhu College) Best of Four (Bo4) aggregate.
While for B.A. (Hons.) in Economics, you will have to keep in mind the following crucial points-
1. You must have passed in Mathematics in the qualifying examination.
2. Marks obtained in Mathematics and one language subject (English/Hindi) should be included for evaluating your Bo4 aggregate.
3. Non-inclusion of Economics in Bo4 aggregate calculation will lead to deduction of 1% on the aggregate of the Best Four.

Taking into account the above factors, the least Bo4 aggregate cutoffs for B.A. (Hons.) in Economics (as per 2019 cutoff lists) offered by some DU colleges are :-
-Dr. BR Ambedkar College - 92
-Zakir Husain Delhi College - 93.25
-Motilal Nehru College - 93
-Satyawati College - 92
-Satyawati College (Evening) - 90.50
-Shyam Lal College - 92
-Shyam Lal College (Evening) - 89.50

As CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) is followed in DU, you can download the lists of DSC, GEC AEC,

But one thing you need to notice is that the above subject combinations are for BA programme (Discipline Subject based admission criteria) with Economics as one of the Discipline Subjects. The least cutoffs here range from 75 (for Aditi Mahavidyalaya (W)) to 86 (for Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College) as your Best of Four (Bo4) aggregate.

While for B.A. (Hons.) in Economics, you will have to keep in mind the following crucial points :-
1. You must have passed in Mathematics in the qualifying examination.
2. Marks obtained in Mathematics and one language subject (generally English/Hindi) must be included for evaluating your Bo4 aggregate.
3. Non-inclusion of marks secured in Economics for calculating your Bo4 will lead to deduction of 1 % on the Bo4 aggregate.

Taking into account the above factors, the least Bo4 aggregate cutoffs for B.A. (Hons.) Economics course (based on 2019 records) offered by some DU colleges for a General candidate are :-

-Dr. BR Ambedkar College - 92
-Zakir Husain Delhi College - 93.25
-Motilal Nehru College - 93
-Satyawati College - 92
-Satyawati College (Evening) - 90.50
-Shyam Lal College - 92
-Shyam Lal College (Evening) - 89.50

So, most probably, you will atleast need a Bo4 aggregate of 92+ to get a DU college this year. Although there are several factors affecting the cutoffs. If this lockdown impacts the board results positively, cutoffs are likely to rise.

As DU follows CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) pattern, you can download the UG syllabus for B.A. (Hons.) Economics programme to get complete list of the 14 Core courses, 13 DSE courses, 4 GECs with sub-categories for the first 4 semesters and 2 SECs by visiting the university official website : du.ac.in
