Optometry profession in India has huge demand. In fact demand is much more than current availability. If you do 4 years degree from good institutes like Vidyasagar College, Kolkata, Bausch & Lomb College from Hyderabad, Pune, Elite School of Optometry, Chennai, NSHM College Kolkata and Durgapur, you really gather good academic experience. Moreover, job opportunity areas are not only in India, but also abroad
