If you have submitted a document that may be unacceptable during the counselling process and document verification, if the authorities allow for an extension for submission of the actual document then it is fine, otherwise in cases of spot counselling, the candidates are usually bypassed and the next candidate is invited if he/she has a full set of documents ready.

Hello, it is advisable that you contact the admission office regarding the same as early as possible https://www.b-u.ac.in/Home/ContactList . Your provisional certificate don't stand valid once your marksheet has been issues and you will be notified in case of discrepancies during document verification process.
