Yes, you can definitely choose general category in neet pg or in any examination, even if you are from sc
Actually,
It all depends upon whether one wants to enjoy reservation or not even if One belongs to reserved categories like obc/ sc / st etc but doesn't want to have the benefit of reservation he or she can always choose General as his or her category but yes the opposite of this case is not possible, that is a General candidate cannot choose reserved categories like OBC SC ST etc.

To be eligible for Neet PG 2021 you need to fulfill the given below criteria :-
-) educational qualification requirement :- to be eligible one must possess an MBBS degree recognised by Medical Council of India
-) it is also mandatory to have MBBS qualification registration either permanent or provisional issued by MCI or State Medical Council i. e SMC
-) the aspirant should complete the one year internship by 31st March of the year in which attempting Neet PG i.e by 31st March 2021 in case of neet pg 2021
