Hello,
The difference between the two colleges are:
Autonomous colleges are recognized by the government or university and have their own rules and regulations to follow. Also, they have their own grading system, curriculum, exam pattern, teaching methods, all these factors are decided and developed on their own. This allows more freedom and flexibility to the faculty, institution and students as well, resulting in a better way of teaching.
Non Autonomous colleges have to follow the rules and regulations as set by the university they are affiliated to. They do not have their own grading system, curriculum, exam pattern etc. It is all set by the university and they have to follow it to the T. This makes the system more rigid and does not allow exploration.
But both the colleges are equally good, it is up to you to decide which one you want to go for.
hope this helps!
