If we talk of any engineering college, we have a lot of gossip turned on about their fests, workshops, ambience and the infrastructure. Also, we often underestimate the autonomous colleges, but the colleges are far better, in fact, the best than the rumours reveal about them.

Here is a 5- pointer list of autonomous colleges, that have secretly been hitting it off all this while when we were busy focusing on only the universities.

1. CVR College Of Engineering : The College is spread over a built-up area of over 36,000 sqm. on a sprawling 33-acre campus amidst verdant surroundings with a great ambience and infrastructure. It is located in Vastunagar, Mangalpalli, Ibrahimpatnam, Telangana 501510. Good for Technology and sciences. Famous for its canteen and its placements.

2. CMR College of Engineering & Technology:

CMRCET is a leading academic institution striving continuously for excellence in technical education, research and technological service to the nation. The college is located in 10 acres of serene environment which is lush green and free of pollution.

They create and sustain a community of learning in which students acquire knowledge and learn to apply it professionally by keeping the society in mind. They implement mechanisms and modalities ensuring accountability at all levels, transparency in procedures and access to information and actions. A separate Training & Placement wing exists for outgoing students for placements and higher studies. A number of first batch of outgoing students have been placed in some of the top organisations such as Infosys, Wipro, Satyam, SAP, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, IBM, Syntel, CTS, L&T Infotech, Dolcera etc.

Marri Laxman Reddy Institute Of Technology (MLRIT): MLR Institute of Technology committed to providing a positive, professional and conducive learning environment where all students are inspired to achieve their potential abilities and strive for excellence in a global society. The campus consists of 25 Acres of land and lot of build up area excluding other buildings and workshop areas, is adequate to conduct various courses under B.Tech Program. It is situated near Near Gandimysamma Police Station Road, Dundigal, Quthbullapur, Hyderabad, Telangana.

4. VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute Of Engineering & Technology (VNR VJIET) : VNR VJIET, established in the year 1995 . The Institute has a permanent affiliation with JNTUH and is recognised under Section 2(f) and 12 (B) of UGC Act, 1956. The campus is huge with a wide range of infrastructure and there are many hangout places nearby as it is situated at Bachupally, Nizampet, Hyderabad.

5. Vardhaman College Of Engineering: Vardhaman College is to update and modernise the quality of professional education. Its aim is to employ innovative teaching methods which carry an emphasis on fast changing technological trends.
