Averagly how much a candidate should score out of 360 to get into NIT IN JEE MAINS

Cutoff for NIT depends on Category, Quota, and stream you choos ebased on whether its newer NIT or Older ones.

However for general category scores above 230 and rnaks within 25000 are best recommended. For getting atleast one seat in NITs.

Inorder to get in into NIT if you are from General Category then roughly you should have 150+ score in JEE mains to take over to any branch in any NIT premises and if you are from Category like ST / SC then it will be like 90+ marks in JEE Mains to take the branch at NIT.
