Dear Bhavani
It doesn't quite get clear from your question as to what you are seeking to ask. However, I am giving you the details, assuming that you are asking about the total number of MBBS seats available for OC Category candidates under Category B admission in Andhra Pradesh.
All the seats in private colleges of Andhra Pradesh are divided into three categories, namely, A, B and C. Category A seats are government seats. 50% of the total MBBS seats in private colleges are reserved for Category A, i.e. government seats. The fee structure of these seats is the same as the fee in government medical colleges. The remaining 50% seats in private medical colleges of AP are divided between Category B and C, such that 35% of the total seats come under Category B, i.e. Management seats, and 15% of seats are reserved for Category C, i.e. NRI category admissions.
Going by previous year statistics, in 2017, the total number of seats in Private medical colleges of AP were 2200. Now, 35% of these seats were given admission on Category B, i.e. under management category, which corresponds to about 770 seats.
I would like to point here that there is no OC (open) or reserved category under Category B, i.e. Management seats. Candidates who wish to be admitted under these seats are given admission irrespective of their categories, but only on the basis of their AIR or marks in NEET.
Hope it will help!
All the best!
