B Pharmacy (Bachelor of Pharmacy) is a job-oriented undergraduate degree for science students who want to make a career in the pharmacy sector. BPharm course duration is of 4 years with 8 semesters. The basic eligibility to take admission is minimum 55-60% in Class XII with science subjects (Physics ,chemistry ,math or physics ,chemistry ,biology or Physics ,chemistry ,math, biology ).
Admission Process of B. Pharma
- B Pharmacy admission process is done on the basis of performance based on one of the entrance examinations .
- Students must fulfill one of the following criteria for B Pharm admission:
- Class XII with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics (Basic BPharm eligibility)
- Completed D Pharm course from a PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) approved institution. This is lateral admission in the second year of B Pharmacy course.
- Through entrance exams like MET, BITSAT, NIPER JEE, KCET etc.

D.Pharmacy or D.Pharma is a diploma level course for aspirants who wish to study pharmacy and opt for a career option in medicine. It is a 2-year full-time diploma course designed to prepare candidates to work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in hospitals, community pharmacies, and other pharmaceutical-related fields.
The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing the course is a 10+2 or equivalent qualification in any stream from a recognized educational board .Admission process is based on the entrance exam but it will vary where or which college you wants to take admission .
