A lot of good colleges do provide Lateral Entry to second year BTech.
Here are a few:
- College of Engineering, Pune
- Delhi Technolical University, Delhi
- Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal
- Punjab University, Chandigarh
- Thapar institute of engineering and technology, Patiala
There are many more! These are good ones too.
You can explore each college on there official website and read the eligibility criteria there.

Many top private engineering universities allow second year migration from another university.. u should have good percentage in first year and no objection certificate from present university.
There is a state level entrance examination for lateral entry LEET (Lateral Entry Entrance Test) which will give you the colleges according to your rank in the respective states.
Here's am mentioning some good colleges who are offering LEET admissions:
1.Punjab University - Chandigarh
2.Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology patiala
3.Delhi Engineering College - Delhi
4.Punjab University - Patiala
