Pandit Deendayal Energy University is a private state university which is NAAC accredited and UGC approved. The university offers the 4 year UG degree course of B.Tech Petroleum Engineering on the basis of GUJCET , JEE Main score.
Now Petroleum Technology have a very good scope ahead. But the recruitment statistics is not that good compared to that of CSE in India. The CSE or IT industry are growing fast in India as well as the world, and the number of jobs for the CSE or IT graduates are much more compared to that of the Petroleum Technology. Also as per the placement stat of PDEU, the placement rate of BTech in Petroleum Engineering is lesser compared to that of the CSE.
