BA + B.Ed is an undergraduate dual-degree program which is of a total of 4 years duration divided into a total of 8 semesters. Through the course, the students are offered an in-depth knowledge for the different subjects which are included in Arts & Professional Studies including Hindi, English, Political Science, Geography, History, Economics, Psychology as well as Sociology. The students who wish to pursue their career in the field of teaching can apply for the course which enables them to experiences the hands-on experience in the classroom teaching and communication skills. The main aim of this course is to prepare the students by providing theoretical and practical knowledge in terms of teaching methodologies and other pedagogies. The minimum eligibility to pursue the BA + B.Ed program is to pass 10+2 from a recognized school/board.

You must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognised school or board.

You must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved candidates) in the 12th exam with all the subjects put together.
Admission Procedure
The admission process for BA + B.Ed varies from college to college. While some of the colleges take direct admission to the course on the basis of merit obtained by the student in 12th exam, some of the colleges also conduct institute level entrance test and interview to test the eligibility of the student for admission. After the student applies for admission through the application form, he/she will be issued the date of entrance test if the eligibility criteria are met by the student. Further, the test will be conducted to test the concepts of the students followed by a personal interview round. On the basis of overall marks obtained by the student in the college level entrance examination and in 12th, the student will be called for the final admission process. Finally, the students will have to pay the admission fee and get their documents verified to complete the admission process.
