B.A (General) or B.A (English) is same ?
Dear Aspirants ,
No ,BA general and BA English both are different or not same .
BA in general is a three year undergraduate degree course which provides a broad and flexible education with a good grounding in one particular subject .But in BA (English) mean its a specialization or Honours course with one subject like English. This course is basically designed to develop knowledge and skills required for a research in a specific arts area and necessary for an advanced professional career. This degree includes specialization in some subjects and is basically based on a combination of coursework and a research project in the chosen field of study.
I hope it will helpful
Thanks
Hey Shadab
Bachelor of Arts (General) is a 3 year undergraduate course which does not have particular focused subject or major to be studied for the whole graduation. In General you can choose subjects from Humanities and Social Sciences which you would be pursuing further, this allows you to explore different field with flexibility and you can then focus on a particular field at the end of graduation.
BA(General) opens a lot of opportunities in different fields.
Whereas BA (English) is 3 year Honors course which is focused on one subject and all of it's aspects, in your case it would be English. You would be studying certain sub topics and subjects under the English curriculum like Vocabulary, Grammar etc. After BA (English) you would have certain opportunities mostly inclined to your major subjects.
