Dear Aspirant,

Bachelors of Arts is an undergraduate program which focuses on subjects like literature, philosophy, social sciences and is known to liberate the thinking process of humans through open perspectives. This field is also known as humanities. BA provides you with the skills to be in a modern workspace no matter what occupation you choose in the future, keeping the option open to you. Your approach towards the entire world becomes a result of critical evaluation and you develop the confidence to ideate concepts and present them through multiple facets.

Bachelors of Science, on the other hand, has a subject-area of focus. It is based on the skills of problem solving and ability to interpret logically. They assign you specific tailored skillsets for specific tailored jobs and they also have built-in PG degrees which can be easily taken up as a follow-up.

At the end of the day, your choice in wither depends on your true passion and goal. If you wish to do something which is specifically scientific in nature, go for B.Sc.. If you want to go more on the liberal arts side and dive into imaginary worlds which require much comprehension, go for B.A.

Choose wisely.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Hello Aman,

Hope you are doing well.

Both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree courses provide the same recognition and value after completion and they both pave the way to master's degree.

However, while a B.A. degree will be more dedicated to developing communication and writing skills, a B.S. will concentrate more on helping you see things from an analytical and practical perspective.

So, before you choose, just ask yourself if you would prefer to read many books and become a master in essay writing thanks to tbeory or like to shape more practical  and get more involved in research.

Good luck

First you need to give priority to your interest because if you choose the course with your interest then you will enjoy throughout the degree and also gain lot of knowledge throughout the course and instead you go for other aspects as your priority then it may happen that you don't enjoy the course and don't give proper attention so it will be a use less.

It is worth noting that your career goals should be given priority and if you want to become a government officer then you can go for BA course because it will give you plenty of time to prepare for competitive exams on the other hand if you are interested in research in the field of science then BSc is a good choice.

Considering the job opportunities in private sector BSc has an edge over BA so you can decide your choices per your priorities
