Solution : Given: Babita is 1.25 times as efficient as Deepak.
They both can complete work in 40 days.
Let the efficiency of Deepak be $x$
Efficiency of Babita $= 1.25x$
Effective efficiency $= x+1.25x = 2.25x$
Total work = Efficiency $×$ Time
$= 2.25x × 40 = 90x$
Work done by Deepak with efficiency of $x = \frac {90x}{x} = 90$ days
Hence, the correct answer is 90.
