Hi akshay,
You can pursue BCA after 12th class whereas for diploma you need to clear 10th. I think you have completed 12th class as you are comparing both Bca and diploma in computer science. So you should go for BCA because you will complete your bachelor's degree after 3 years. But if you choose diploma then first you have to complete your diploma in 3 years and then B.Tech for another 3 years, so you will get Bachelors degree after 6 years which is not preferred. Also diploma course will be consisted lf 10th students mostly and only those students take diploma after 12th who failed or performed poorly in 12th.

the difference between bachelor of computer application and diploma in computer engineering is that BCA is a under graduate course which one can pursue after their 10+2 only while polytechnic is not a under graduate course it is equivalent to 10+2.,one can pursue diploma in engineering right after their 10nth and there is no such boundation that a 12th passed candidate cannot pursue diploma they can also
as BCA is a undergraduate course it holds more value however after your diploma you can do btech afterwards .
