Correct Answer: Portuguese

Solution : The correct answer is Portuguese.

The city of Bassein was given to the Portuguese in 1534 by Bahadur Shah. Afterwards, he signed another treaty to gain the favour of the Portuguese in exchange for the cities of Daman and Diu, Mumbai, and Vasai. While Bahadur Shah was on a Portuguese ship to sign another treaty off the coast of Gujarat, he was killed by the Portuguese, and his body was thrown into the Arabian Sea.
