Bachelor in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery(BHMS) is an academic degree. It covers knowledge regarding the homeopathic medical system. The duration of this course generally varies from 4 to 5 years.( Bearing 1- year internship)
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:: The candidate should have scored at least 50% -55% in classes 10 and 12/equivalent examination.
Fee Structure:: Avg fees for the course vary from INR 12,000 to INR 30,000 in government colleges, whereas, the fee structure in private colleges may vary between 1,50,000 to INR 2,00,000.
Entrance exams are:: NEET, KEAM, PU CET, IPU CET, EAMCET, etc.
Salary package:: A homeopathic doctor's salary in the government sector varies from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month, while salaries in the private sector begin at Rs. 20,000 per month.

For admissions in B.A.M.S or B.H.M.S course candidates need to give NEET exam. The admissions are based on the NEET score. BAMS is an Ayurveda traditional healing art based undergraduate medical programme in India. Admission to BAMS courses is done in only Ayurvedic colleges affiliated to the respective universities, which are permitted by the Department of AYUSH, Union Government of India. BHMS is an undergraduate degree program of five and a half years including a year of internship. In BHMS, the candidate gains knowledge of Homeopathy medicine and surgery. Admissions to both the courses are based on the NEET scores.
