Students who are willing to take medicine as a profession can choose a Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) after the completion of Class 12. BAMS is a traditional Ayurveda art program based on a medical program in India. The BAMS course provides comprehensive information on ‘Ashtanga Ayurveda’ as well as scientific advances in modern medicine and several practical training. The Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) is an organization responsible for the adoption of Ayurvedic education in undergraduate and advanced level and the manufacture of Ayurvedic medicine in India. Admission to the BAMS course will be provided on the basis of the schools obtained in the NEET examination.
